Left Fields sells hops rhizomes only, not hop cones or pelleted hops.

Hops rhizome sales closed on May 12 for 2012. There will be no orders taken after this date. Hops have now all been dug, and shipping will follow the close of sales on May 12 as quickly as we can. Please see the catalogue page for the list of hops available in 2012. If you don't see it on the list, we don't have it! We cannot sell any trademarked varieties or varieties in development at proprietary institutions — no Simcoe, Amarillo or dwarf hops.

In 2013 Left Fields will be solely supplied by Canadian organic hops growers. We believe in buying local and supporting our fledgeling hops industry, and we are proud to be representing a very fine group of farmers. This will mean some adjustments to our list of hops available, and we hope to continue to develop a broad base of varieties for sale to Canadian hops growers of all sizes.

Left Fields is the 10-acre farm on which Crannóg Ales is situated. We grow hops for the brewery and re-use all the brewery by-products as livestock feed, compost or irrigation water. For general farm information, please check out our page on the Crannóg Ales website.

We are BC Certified Organic, which means that our certification is valid within BC only. We do conform to the Canadian Organic Regime, under which all organizations claiming to be certified organic must be registered, but we have chosen not to undertake the extra paperwork of ISO certification.
